Notes:

Act one starts at 'Lot 666' and act two misses only the Entr'acte. So, basically full video/99% complete. Audio fed from external source. Great audio/video quality, rivals videos shot years later (grainier than the best, though). Although this was shot in (16:9) standard definition, there is lots of detail due to close zooming, a bright lens and encoding to MP4. You can discern the string keeping the mask in place. Black bar in lower part of the picture, and an evil head of doom on centre/stage right. This means small bits were just impossible to capture, but I tried to shoot around it. Some shakiness results at times. Mix of mediums and close ups. Downgraded because of the obstruction, though probably conservatively graded.

This whole cast is great, and Earl and Celia are amazing. Brilliant acting. Earl really plays the part and adapts to whatever is happening that moment. Really sweet moment at the end of MotN where he sits next to the boat. Can't remember him doing that in later performances. Celia is also quite lovely, though I prefer Rachel vocally.

Excellent 4K capture of the incredible Emilie Kouatchou as lead Christine! It's filmed in 16:9 with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups from the front right orchestra with minor obstructions on the far sides of the stage that affect a small amount of the action that takes place there. There's only one main dropout that occurs during the scene before The Point of No Return due to an usher in the aisle. Due to the dark nature of the show, the camera rarely wanders during one or two scenes of the show but this never lasts for more than a few seconds. The audio is excellent and is from an external source. Includes audio of curtain call and playbill scans.

Excellent 4K capture of this revival! Increased wandering / readjustment and unfocusing throughout. Some minor head obstruction in the second act that is worked around very well. Other obstruction throughout only lasts for a second or two each time. Due to the angle, some of Johanna's moments are blocked off by the archway. Includes curtain call, audio is fed from external source.
